Remote Mentoring

Remote Mentored Development (RMD) with Mark Ridgley

Senior-level LabVIEW guidance, exactly when your team needs it - without travel, contracts or overhead.

When training alone isn't enough

NI Core training teaches the fundamentals.
Remote Mentored Development helps your team apply them to a real project.

This offering provides structured, remote LabVIEW mentorship to guide early design decisions, reinforce best practices, and build internal capability - without outsourcing development.

How it works

Remote Mentored Development is a scheduled, advisory engagement.

Engagements typically begin with a kickoff session followed by a defined mentorship period focused on your project.

  • Remote project kickoff & technical assessment

  • Architecture and design review

  • VI walkthroughs and best-practice guidance

  • Ongoing mentorship aligned with NI standards

You bring the problem. We work through it together.

Services are advisory and mentoring in nature; implementation remains the responsibility of the customer.

Who this is for
  • Engineers new to LabVIEW

  • Small test teams without an in-house LabVIEW expert

  • Teams developing their first or next test system

  • Organizations focused on building long-term capability

Scheduling

Mentorship sessions are conducted remotely and by scheduled appointment.

Typical availability:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30–5:00 PM Central Time
